The hotel's location was superb, being in such close proximity to major departmental stores, with a train station just beside it & the famous Nishiki market within a 10 minute walk. The ambience of the hotel is calming and the architects' vision of creating a green, sustainable space is evident everywhere you look in Good Nature Hotel. The rain-shower and generous tub were a bonus! We paid a little extra for our room balcony which was worth it, as the spot overlooked the lovely plant trelis and garden, making it a relaxing outlet after a busy day touring Kyoto. An ice maker & water dispenser on every floor was really thoughtful as well. Despite the hotel being a little pricier than others, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely book Good Nature Hotel again on our returning trip!

The property is conveniently located in central Kyoto. We enjoyed the fact that many stores and activities were of close reach. The hotel is brand new and of a neat and minimal yet modern and stylish design. Rooms are very spacious with an elegant and smartly designed interior, with all amenities that one may need. Beds were very comfy and perfect for resting after a long day. The hotel boosts your mood immediately after entering. The building actually includes multiple facilities like restaurants, food and accessories/clothing store, and a cute cafe. Staff were extremely polite and helpful with everything. Hats off to the breakfast bar, which is totally worth it.

We had no expectations out of Good Nature Hotel, but it was an amazingly pleasant surprise! First, it is conveniently located near bus and train stations, very close to Kyoto station too. It is within walking distance from Nishiki Market, which is a must-visit while in Kyoto (first or 45th time, you have to go). The hotel itself is VERY pretty, as soon as you enter the lobby you feel immersed in the eco-friendly and peaceful atmosphere they've achieved to create. The room was incredibly spacious and very tastefully decorated; this was one of our favorite hotels we've ever stayed at.

The rooms were fantastic and I cannot fault them. They were spacious, comfortable and very clean. We loved how the toilet was separate to the bath and shower, and how the bathroom was a wet room. The complimentary elements i.e., water, coffee and tea were appreciated and great. Every night we had a great sleep and there was no disruption from the traffic out on the main road (the rooms are soundproofed pretty well). Location wise it was perfect right in the centre of Kyoto and a good starting base for every morning.

The room felt very big -after staying in some other Japanese hotels- and was very comfortable. The hotel is in the top floors of a new building with a shopping centre and restaurants in the lower floors. The staff could not have been more helpful and charming, they organised for our suitcases to be sent to our hotel in Tokio, wrote all the labels (a lot of writing) and checked twice our names matched the Tokio hotel booking. Very well located for sightseeing and transport. 15 m on the bus from Kyoto station.
